The staff were amazing, friendly helpful giving us a warm welcome. The location is as central as it gets with shops and a supermarket nearby. A short walk takes you to the city centre. The views over the water are lovely. We didn't use the pool, so I can't comment. The room, I felt, although comfortable, warm, and spotless, certainly didn't warrant the extra cost. It lacked any elements of luxury and felt sparce.. The snacks in the fridge were welcome, 2 cans of fizzy drinks, two bottles of water, and two mini kitkats. The coffee tray offered a basic coffee and a pack of bourbon biscuits.

The bellhop was a lovely welcoming man, he assured us from the minute we arrived that we where in good hands and where going to have a pleasant experience. He greeted us in the carpark and had a luggage trolley at the ready to take our bags to our room. He was very good with our 5 year old daughter and even let her know the secret rule about the swimming pool. (She had to sing baby shark song) in doing so he gave her a bag of haribo which to a 5 year old is a million pound. From that first encounter it set our minds at ease as we knew we where going to have a great experience

I'm not sure how it came about, but I was upgraded to one of the 7th floor suites. It was pure bliss! Spa bath which I used to release the tension of the day away. Nice touch of some chocolates to nibble on. Bed was very comfortable and as I had a corner suite, the views over the river were fabulous. Check in was simple and they accommodated me at the restaurant for dinner even though I didn't have a booking, advising me to get in before the tour groups arrived for dinner and the kitchen would get very busy. Food was very good as was the wine selection.

Great hotel in the center of Derry. We didn't need to get a taxi as you can easily walk to most parts of the city. Perfect for a weekend stay. Underground parking available as well which is a bonus. Will stay again.
